The Democratic Alliance won the only ward contested in the Limpopo by-election which took place yesterday.
Yolande Coetzee is the new councillor in Ward 32 in the Mogalakwena [Potgietersrus] Municipality – LIM367. The seat was retained by the party with 43.45% of the 1 377 votes cast. Voter turnout was 31.32%.
