If you will be out of the country on election day (08 May 2019) and you qualify, you can submit a VEC 10 to notify us of your intention to vote on 27 April 2019 at a South African embassy, high commission or consulate-general.
Please note that, by law, it is not possible to vote abroad on any date other than 27 April 2019, and no exceptions can be made.
Applications for the 2019 National and Provincial Elections closed on 13 March 2019. The cut-off date is mandated by law and no exceptions can be made.
In order to vote abroad, you must be a South African citizen and a registered voter. Check your
