During the by-elections contested yesterday in KwaZulu-Natal, the African National Congress (ANC) won the seat over the Democratic Alliance (DA).  Ravinand Samlall Maharaj is the new ANC councillor , in ward 13, in uMdoni Municipality – KZN212.
