YOUR VOICE, YOUR VOTE, YOUR POWER

When we all vote, we can make a difference in our communities. Together, let's make sure every eligible South African citizen is registered and ready to vote in the 2024 National and Provincial Elections and all future municipal by-elections.

We’re talking to all South African citizens of registration age, that is, those aged 16 years and older, with a valid identity document. We’re talking to all eligible voters with their own internet access, those who can access it through family or friends, and those who have access at work.

We need South Africa’s unregistered youth to answer the call to register, in particular. Statistics South Africa (Stats SA) estimates the mid-year population at 60 million people in 2022, over 14 million of whom are young people aged 15–29 years.

There are just under 7 million registered youth between the ages of 16 and 29 on the national voters’ roll. That's a huge number of young people with the potential to make a significant impact on our democracy, but there could be many more. Be sure you are counted.
