The Democratic Alliance has retained the ward it won in the 2016 Municipal Elections in the by-election contested yesterday in the KwaZulu-Natal province.
The new councillor for Ward 32 in the Msundizi Municipality – KZN225 is Shawn Adkins. The seat was retained by the party with 53.51% of the 5 423 total votes cast. Voter turnout was 56.77%.
